This 1,800 sq. ft. coastal home along A1A was running on corroded copper supply lines and leaking fittings. After finding deterioration in several connections, we proposed and performed a copper pipe replacement using PEX piping. We replaced the old copper lines with 165 feet of new red and blue PEX lines. We also upgraded the fittings and shutoff valves and tested the system for leaks.
PRICE: $5,800
COMPLETION TIME: 3 days

These homeowners wanted to simply update their old plumbing system. Since they were supplying 3 bathrooms, a kitchen, and a laundry area, we had to schedule our work to avoid disrupting the family's daily routine. Though we had to work in stages, we were able to replace the entire home's piping with 260 feet of new red and blue PEX lines. We also routed most of them in accessible spaces like the attic. It was also a 2,200 sq. ft. home, so it took quite some time.
PRICE: $7,600
COMPLETION TIME: 4 days

This isn't our usual single-family house. The unit owner complained about corroded water pipes and leaking fittings inside the unit. After coordinating access and water shutoff times with property management, we replaced the old supply piping with 110 feet of new red and blue PEX lines. We also updated the valves and fittings and tightened fixture connections.
PRICE: $4,200

Homes in Indian River Shores face salt air from both sides, with the Atlantic to the east and the Indian River Lagoon to the west. About 29% of the town’s area is water, so very few properties are far from it. That constant moisture is rough on outdoor spigots, hose bibs, and any metal pipe exposed to the air.
A large share of townhomes were built between the late 1970s and the 1990s. That stretch overlaps with the years when polybutylene was going into houses all over Florida. The gray plastic breaks down from the inside, so it often looks fine right up until it fails.

Seasonal living changes how leaks play out here. Many residents spend October through Easter in town and are away the rest of the year, so a slow drip can run for weeks without anyone noticing. Getting ahead of aging pipe takes a big worry off your shoulders while you’re gone.
Most neighborhoods in Indian River Shores are gated, including John’s Island, The Moorings, Indian River Club, and Seagrove. Each one has its own rules for contractor access, work hours, and parking. Our team works within those rules and coordinates entry ahead of time so the project runs smoothly.
Copper repiping is a popular choice in Indian River Shores because many owners want a rigid metal system with a long track record. It costs more than PEX and takes more labor to install. Since salt air can be hard on copper, we route new lines inside the home in our copper repiping, wherever the layout allows.
CPVC is a solid, budget-friendly pipe rated for hot and cold water. It holds up well in plenty of homes, but long, humid summers make attic placement something to think through. Our plumbers check your routing first and recommend CPVC only when it truly fits.
Galvanized steel is less common here than in older Treasure Coast towns, but it still turns up. We usually find it in a handful of older properties or in sections added during past repairs. PSL Whole House Repiping removes those corroded lines and replaces them with new pipe before rust cuts off the flow.
A leak under a concrete slab is especially stressful in homes with marble, tile, or hardwood floors. Instead of breaking through those finishes, we usually reroute the damaged line through the attic or walls. The old pipe stays abandoned under the slab, and your flooring stays intact.
Most homeowners want to keep their finished walls in one piece, and that’s usually possible to a large degree. Our crew routes new lines through attics, closets, and cabinet backs, then makes small, clean openings only where a fixture connection requires it. We’ll show you exactly where those openings go before any work begins. This is a highly requested service across Jupiter, FL.
Every project starts with an inspection of the entire plumbing system, not just the spot that’s leaking. We check pipe material, look for corrosion at exposed joints, and test pressure at several fixtures. That full picture tells us whether a complete repipe or a targeted fix makes more sense.
Repiping permits in Indian River Shores go through the Town of Indian River Shores, and we confirm what your project needs before work starts. Full repipes typically cost between $4,000 and $15,000, while partial jobs usually run $2,500 to $5,000. Larger homes with more bathrooms tend to land toward the higher end, and most whole-house projects wrap up in 2 to 4 days.

Seasonal residents don’t have to be in town for every step of a repipe. We can plan the work around your arrival or departure and keep you updated on progress while you’re away. PSL Whole House Repiping coordinates access with your community so nothing stalls at the gate.
Before our team leaves, every new connection gets pressure-tested, and every fixture is run to confirm steady flow. We patch the access openings and leave the work areas clean. You’ll also get a summary of what we replaced, which is handy for insurance and future maintenance.
