Whole-House PEX Repiping

Customer: Nick and Rosalie Smith

Location: SW Becker Road, Port St. Lucie, FL 34953

Project: Polybutylene-to-PEX conversion

Project Size: 2,400 sq. ft. (2 stories, 3 bathrooms)

Approx. Project Cost: $7,200

Turnaround Time: 3 days

Overview:

Nick and Rosalie wanted to modernize their plumbing system at the same time they're redoing their house design. Since they also wanted to keep things on budget, they picked PEX over copper. So, we planned the new piping layout in line with their new blueprint. We prioritized routing it in accessible areas like the ceiling and attic. In total, we used a total of 280 ft of PEX pipe and added a manifold distribution. For those in the walls, we made sure to recommend access ports/openings for easier monitoring of the pipes in the future.

Whole-House Copper Pipe Repiping

Customer: Andy and Penelope Miller

Location: Gatlin Pines, near SW Tulip Boulevard, Port St. Lucie, FL 34953

Project: Copper pipe replacement

Project Size: 2,000 sq. ft. (1 story, 2 bathrooms)

Approx. Project Cost: $7,200

Turnaround Time: 4 days

Overview:

Seeing their old copper piping at the end of its life, Andy and Penelope asked us to replace the system. But they wanted to stick to copper pipes. The previous line was 220 ft., but we used 240 ft. of Type L copper for the repiping. This gave us the allowance to properly organize the pipes, especially near the main distribution area and heater. We also made sure to replace all the fittings, joints, and shutoff valves.

House Repipe Installation

Customer: Charles and Tabitha Williams

Location: SW Village Parkway area, Port St. Lucie, FL 34987

Project: Partial/targeted house repiping

Project Size: 1,600 sq. ft. (House size, not targeted pipe size)

Approx. Project Cost: $1,650

Turnaround Time: 1 day

Overview:

Right in the heart of Tradition, Charles and Tabitha found some leakage behind their guest bathroom and the kitchen. Since these sections were the only issues, they chose not to have a whole-house repiping. Our replacement work for this project used 55 feet of new PEX lines, along with new fittings and shutoff valves. We also performed leak testing by the end to confirm that the problem's solved.

Commercial Building Repiping

Customer: Abegail and Trixie Jefferson

Overview:

These sisters bought a commercial building together. Before they officially open it to the public and allow their tenants to move in, they renovated the place. We were part of that, for the plumbing. We updated the old galvanized piping with a combination of copper and PEX pipes. There's also a main distribution network set up for easy management and control. Plus, we made sure to get the necessary local permits and complete commercial inspections.
